Join musician Erin Jorgensen for an hour of live marimba music accompanied by pancakes made on-the-spot. Erin will play a selection of Bach followed by calming marimba improvisations. A great way to kick off your summer morning with the family.

4pm | Marimba (pre) Happy Hour
Prepare your ears for the evening ahead with acoustic + amplified marimba and dreamy vocals from musician Erin Jorgensen. Expect improvisations, cover songs, and mesmerizing marimba drones.

5pm | Raven String Quartet
Seattle expert string players have joined forces to form a festival-only quartet! This group of top-notch artists will play a virtuosic set including music from American contemporary composer Jessie Montgomery, the anxious pop of Radiohead, and the melancholic beauty of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. The quartet also performs Monday, Sept 2 at 5pm.

London-based musician Adam Sherry (A Dead Forest Index) closes out Day 1 of the festival with a gorgeous, otherworldly set featuring vocals and harmonium.
Sherry, one-half of the New Zealand/UK duo A Dead Forest Index, graces Seattle with a solo set featuring his signature hymn-like vocals, drifting melodies, and the hypnotic long tones of the harmonium.
